NEW YORK -- The law firm of SLOTNICK, SHAPIRO & CROCKER, LLP has commenced a class action lawsuit on behalf of a union pension fund in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York on behalf of all purchasers of certain Computer Associates International, Inc. ("Computer Associates" or the "Company") securities, including common stock, during the period from May 28, 1999 through February 25, 2002 (the "Class Period").

The action charges Computer Associates, as well as its Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, with violations of Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
