ALBANY, N.Y. -- Mechanical Technology Inc. held its annual shareholders meeting Thursday, March 7, 2002, in Albany, New York, and demonstrated its most recent micro fuel cell prototype and discussed Company activities and progress.

The focus of the meeting was the micro fuel cell commercialization efforts of its subsidiary MTI MicroFuel Cells Inc., and the debut of the first version of its newest prototype. Dr. William P.
