If you didn't know better, you'd swear the Bears already have defeated the Eagles and are only waiting to see if they'll get the Rams in St. Louis or the Packers at home.

If you believe half of what you read, a quarter of what you hear and just a tenth of what some Bears are saying, there's no game to be played against Philadelphia, which has won 12 games this year, by the way.

Maybe the experts are right. Maybe this is a fait accompli.

Still, if there's something to be worried about, it's how first- year offensive coordinator John Shoop will come out calling plays Saturday.

If he crawls into a shell like he did twice against Green Bay in the biggest games of this season, the Eagles are going to give the Bears fits.

These are not the Lions or the Vikings we're talking about.
