According to the terms of the collaborative agreement, PKN will reportedly transfer its 150,000 metric ton per year (mt/y) low-density polyethylene (LDPE) unit as well as provide land for the venture. BASELL, on the other hand, will supply the needed technologies for 2 new plants. These will include a: - 320,000 mt/y Hostalen-process high density polyethylene (HDPE)
unit; - 400,000 mt/y Spheripol-process polypropylene (PP) facility.
The complex, to be sited at Plock, is expected to cost $350,000,000...
