Trusted Content Authentication to be introduced to ZyLAB's extensive
international customer base
AuthentiDate Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: ADAT), a leading provider of Trusted Content Authentication services, today announced that it intends to acquire the assets of ZyLAB International, Inc., a privately owned company based in Germantown, MD for an undisclosed number of restricted shares of AHC Common Stock.
The parties have reached an agreement in principle and the acquisition is conditioned on the completion of a definitive agreement and board shareholder approval.
As the first company to introduce PC based, full text search software to the market in 1983, ZyLAB has sold an estimated 700,000 search engine licenses, resulting in tremendous name recognition in world markets. ZyLAB was founded in 1983.
