According to the terms of the award, FERROSTAAL will be responsible for building plant with an installed production capacity of 900,000 tons per year. However, no details have yet been revealed regarding the cost of the new unit or the implementation time frame. In any case, construction work is tentatively scheduled to begin some time during the year 2002.
FERROSTAAL, a subsidiary of MAN AG, is engaged in facility construction and contracting as well as the provision of industrial equipment and systems. It is also involved in steel trading and logistics.
