Despite several small community newspapers now saturating the Valley, Jim Kaplan, publisher of the Studio City Sun feels that Sherman Oaks has gotten lost in the mix. As a result, he plans to begin publication of the Sherman Oaks Sun in January of 2004, aiming to reach 27,000 Sherman Oaks residents by delivering the papers bi-weekly to their homes.

According to Kaplan, the fact that the paper will be home delivered is crucial for Success.
