SALEM - Restrictions on legislative employee travel could mean an end to the kind of trips that aides and administrators took in recent months to New Orleans, Denver, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C.

Despite an out-of-state travel restriction for executive branch employees, legislative branch staff members have made 20 trips in the past six months, according to state records.

That travel, along with 13 out-of-state trips by legislators, cost $21,399.
