SALEM - The groups trying to defeat the tax-raising Measure 30 reported a slight edge Monday over supporters in building up war chests to pay for the coming campaigns.

The 10 political action committees formed to defeat the tax measure in the Feb. 3 ballot reported a combined $205,278 in cash on hand. Their opponents, the 12 pro-Measure 30 PACs, reported having $182,377 in funds for the campaign ahead. Both sides' reports...
