No underwear!' That's the pitch for the latest series of Survivor, the reality game show in which contestants are 'marooned' in an exotic location (this time on the Pearl Islands in the Gulf of Panama) split into 'tribes', deprived of food and sleep and subjected to a series of challenges, before having the opportunity to vote one another off the show until just one is left to take home a cash prize. The 'no underwear' angle arose from the twist in the current season that saw the participants turn up to the first show to be told that they could only take the clothes they were wearing and Nicole, an underpants-challenged massage therapist from California, found she'd become the darling of the show's publicity department.
