For too long, travelers heading south on the Natchez Trace Parkway have been required to exit from Interstate 55 and travel via Interstate 20 to the west side of Clinton to reenter the national parkway. When the much-anticipated Jackson Bypass project is complete next year, travelers will have a straight track through the metropolitan area.
