Article Excerpt Even though the 23-year-old construction law firm Ott & Purdy was dissolved in July, its partners and associates are prospering at Jackson-area firms, including two newly created ones.
"The split was very amicable," said William R. "Bill" Purdy, a founding partner of the firm. "We had been discussing some issues for a long time. Around May, we felt the need to start a new situation. That led to further discussions. We were then all able to reach an agreement and July 31 was our last day."
