Una frase de uno de los más brillantes científicos de este país, Marcos Moshinsky, quien en una conferencia hace 30 años manifestó su temor de que México nunca llegara a producir buenos físicos, cambió la vida de la arqueóloga Linda Manzanilla Naim: --Él estaba decepcionado luego de los sucesos del 68 y tenía una visión pesimista de la ciencia en México. Entonces yo acariciaba la idea de abocarme a la astrofísica, pero, ante su comentario, opté por volver mi vista de las estrellas a la Tierra, sin olvidar el consejo de mis padres: estudiar lo que yo quisiera, pero bien.
