Hot and cold

November started with a bang for Oregon's football recruiting, as four high school seniors committed to the Ducks between Nov. 8-12. What was initially a group heavy on linemen has some skill position players as well, including a couple of potential tight ends as well as a linebacker.

Three of those players committed to Oregon during or just after the weekend of the California game on Nov. 7. But while the Ducks went on to win their two remaining regular-season games, at UCLA and against Oregon State, they didn't procure any more verbal commitments, at least that have become public.

That could change soon, as Oregon has a heavy weekend for official visits to open December, and another big one the first weekend of January.
