Tough competition for the team title at this weekend's 24th annual C.O. Feutz Wrestling Classic at Conant could have been anticipated with the defending state team champions from Indiana and Illinois (Providence Catholic) in the mix.

The Celtics battled for the championship, and Providence won on depth 221.5-188. Griffith (Ind.) had two champions and three seconds to one champion and two seconds for Providence.

DuPage Valley powers Naperville North (166) and Glenbard North (138.5), both had two champions to finish third and fourth respectively.

Host Conant finished sixth (128), 7 points behind Proviso East and two places ahead of Mid-Suburban League rival Rolling Meadows (105.5). St. Charles East, the only Upstate Eight Conference entry, followed up its victory over crosstown rival St. Charles...
