Diversifying staff in District 203 a critical goal

Naperville Unit District 203's staff diversity figures were recently released and show little change in the last six years.

During the 1998-99 school year, for instance, minority educators made up 2.7 percent of the district's teaching staff. This year, it is only 2.8 percent. District 203 officials said they want to increase those numbers across the board, especially certified teachers.
