A nine-piece Nativity set made of hand-painted ceramic and captures the beauty of the Christmas scene - and its native country.

Made in Peru, the set features poor peasants, instead of shepherds, and they are carrying baskets of corn and potatoes as they come to see the infant Jesus.

It is just one of more than 100 Nativity scenes - representing 40 Third-World countries - offered in a tiny store called Gifts of the World, carved out of the front room of a former Schaumburg house.
