Allen & Heath: the greatest hits (and a couple of near-misses): as the UK-based mixing console company celebrates the completion of its fourth decade, managing director Glenn Rogers reflects on the products that built a pro-audio legend. David Davies takes notes.

The company of which he has been a part since 1983 is marking its 40th anniversary and, despite the current global challenges, Allen & Heath MD Glenn Rogers is in an emphatically upbeat mood. "It's a very good time for us," he tells PSNE on the company's packed PLASA stand. "I am proud of our achievements and proud of my team, all of whom are great professionals with a real passion for the technology. I certainly don't want this to sound like a boast--there are definitely challenges--but our sales aren't being particularly affected by the economic crisis. We've been really fortunate so far and feel that we are in a good position for the years to come."
