Article Excerpt WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Renaissance Learning(TM), Inc. , a leading provider of technology to support personalized practice, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring in reading, math, and writing for pre-K-12 schools and districts, today announced financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. Revenues for the third quarter of 2009 were $31.8 million, an increase of 12.6% from third quarter 2008 revenues of $28.2 million. Net income was $5.2 million, or $.18 per share, compared to net income of $2.6 million, or $.09 per share, for the third quarter last year.
