My wife and I live in the Southwind subdivision and we love our community. I am really concerned with our District 158 school board.

I believe in supporting our schools and have done so in the past. However, the board is taking a huge risk by asking for the exact tax increase that failed on the previous referendum.

Taking a no-compromise position while betting all that you have that the referendum will pass, is like wagering all your money on a blackjack table and hoping you might be dealt an ace and jack....
