GUY WADSWORTH, president of Wadsworth Brothers Construction, received the 2009 Trailblazer award from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) for his pioneering work in accelerated bridge construction. Over the past several years UDOT, in partnership with Wadsworth Brothers Construction, has pursued various methods to shorten construction time and reduce the impact of construction on the traveling public.

The Utah Farm Bureau Federation named DAVID BAILEY vice president for organization, replacing Bailey is moving from his position as regional manager for the agricultural organization. He will serve as a link between the state's regional managers and the state office, as well as advise the Young Farmer and Rancher program and the local collegiate chapters of the Farm Bureau.

Ogden City and the Utah Army National Guard appointed Assistant Chief of Police RANDY WATT to attend the U.S. Army War College resident course at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. Chief Watt was one of 17 Army National Guard officers selected nationally to attend.
