Stephen Gray's smooth, accent-free baritone voice is perfect for the career in radio he dreamed of while growing up. But after a few years in the business left him burned out, he has spent 25 years as a ticket broker for sporting and entertainment events across the country.

Gray began the business when a friend had an unpleasant experience with a ticket broker and said anyone with a knack for customer service could probably do the job and make a decent living.

Gray said meeting that need for customer service is how he has survived over the years as larger national entities such as Ticketmaster, Live Nation and StubHub have come to dominate the industry....
