LINTHICUM, Md., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dialysis Corporation of America announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2009.
-- Quarter end patient census was approximately 2,100. -- Quarterly Results included: -- Operating revenues were $24.7 million compared to $20.8 million for the same period last year, a 19% increase. -- Operating income was $1.7 million compared to $1.1 million for the same period last year. -- Net income was $709,000 or $0.07 per basic and diluted share compared to $663,000 or $0.07 per basic and diluted share for the same period last year. -- Results for the first half of 2009 included: -- Operating revenues were $48.2 million compared to $41.3 million for the same period last year, a 17% increase. -- Operating income was $2.5 million compared to $2.5 million for the same period last year. -- Net income was $0.9 million or $0.09 per basic and diluted share compared to $1.1 million or $0.12 per basic and diluted share for the same period last year.
