Vizada, the independent satellite communications provider, has launched the ThurayaIP broadband mobile satellite service*. The launch follows an extensive development phase with Thuraya to fine-tune the service and link it to Vizada's network infrastructure.

Vizada, and service provider partner SeaMobile Europe, have combined ThurayaIP with their own applications and solutions to provide a packaged service to the France24 news channel. This enables France24 reporters to perform high-quality live broadcasts, as well as send emails and use internet from remote locations.

France24 reporters use SeaMobile Europe's Media ClipWay end-to-end software solution in order to send live and pre-recorded film over the ThurayaIP terminal.
