Once again, the Arizona State women's team is poised for another title run at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

After winning the title in 2007 and finishing second last year, the Sun Devils showed their enduring big-meet ability in the NCAA West Region championships this weekend at Hayward Field.

Saturday, sprinter Charonda Williams won the 100 and 200 and anchored ASU's winning 4x100 meter relay team.

And thrower Sarah Stevens, the defending national champion in the discus, won the shot put after winning the discus on Friday and finishing second in the hammer throw.
