If your company is selling any products that are used in military applications, you better be on your toes. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) set up a fake American company, and found that it was able to purchase sensitive military technologies that are subject to export controls, such as night vision goggles and triggers for nuclear warheads, and send them overseas without the government ever knowing, and without the executives of the companies being prosecuted for violating laws governing export controls.
