Whenever there was a worship service, wedding, funeral, choir practice or special event at Roseville Lutheran Church Norma Bartlett was there. Bartlett, who lived across the street from the church, was one of the congregation's earliest members and for decades was its primary pianist and organist.

"She was one grand lady," said 94-year-old Helen Armstrong, the church's last remaining charter member. "She would attach this device to the piano to make it sound like an organ. It was wonderful."
