Eugene real estate broker Kevin Gordon has had a busy day and a half, but not in a good way, he said Thursday afternoon.

Scammers pirated a photo of a Santa Clara home he has listed for sale and posted it on the craigslist classified ad Web site as a rental, according to Gordon, owner of Off and Running Real Estate. The scammers' aim is to get a prospective renter to wire them a deposit - a type of rip-off...
