Tropical heat wave

Chicago isnAEt exactly Bora Bora, but you can experience a tropical paradise in an urban setting at either the Lincoln Park Conservatory or the Garfield Park Conservatory this summer. Reconnect with nature among hundreds of colorful species from all over the world including alluring begonias and hibiscus. Kodak moments abound amid the vibrant blooms during the Summer Tropical Flower shows which feature free admission. Couple your visit with one of the various special workshops and events at each conservatory. For example, Garfield Park, which just celebrated its 100th birthday, offers special free family events and film screenings.
