Roco Samaniego nunca lleg a tener la suerte de pensar que criar a su hijo Juan Diego sera tarea f[sz]cil.

Con un diagnstico de sndrome de Down y otros problemas fsicos peligrosos, el beb, que fue diagnosticado mientras an se encontraba en la matriz, estaba destinado a tener un vida difcil.

La residente de Glendale Heights haba considerado, y hasta programado, hacerse un aborto luego de enterarse de que el embarazo tena pocas esperanzas. Pero sali de la clnica y rog que hubiera algunas sonrisas y un poco de alegra en la vida de este beb.

Lamentablemente, el beb de Samaniego no sobrevivi. Pero, gracias a la labor de la fundacin "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation", una red de fotgrafos voluntarios, Samaniego surgi de esta experiencia desgarradora con algo m[sz]s que recuerdos agridulces.

La fundacin, que fue fundada hace cuatro a[+ or -]os en Littleton, Colo., por una madre que perdi a su hijo recin nacido y la fotgrafa que la ayud, ofrece una nueva filosofa para ayudar...
