CORVALLIS - Oregon State did what the Beavers haven't been doing, which kept things going the wrong way for Oregon on Tuesday night at Goss Stadium.

The end result was a 10-2 victory for OSU (25-11) in a nonleague game before 2,381 that turned from competitive into the seventh consecutive defeat for the Ducks (13-29) when John Wallace hit a grand slam in the fifth inning to break a 2-2 deadlock.

"That was big for the morale of the team," OSU catcher Ryan Ortiz said.
