THE wife of Ronnie Wood is to begin divorce proceedings following the Rolling Stone's highly-publicised affair with a woman four decades his junior.

Jo Wood, 54, is due to file papers next week and the couple, who have been married for more than 23 years, have been consulting lawyers over their shared businesses.

The 61-year-old guitarist walked out on his wife last year after beginning a relationship with cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.
