The Burlington Central softball team showed Wednesday it isnt quite ready to hand over the top spot in the Big Northern East just yet.

Using a gutsy performance in the circle over the games final two innings from senior Mackenzie Scott, a little magic off Scotts bat, and a big "Rocket bounce" in the outfield, Burlington outlasted Marengo 4-3 on Rocket Hill.
