The St. Edward softball team bounced back from a 4-0 deficit Tuesday t beat Rosary 9-5 and snap a four-game losing streak.

Madeline Foehringer started for the Green Wave (12-9, 3-3) and Sarah Field picked up the win in relief. Lea Diaz was 4-for-4 with a triple for St. Edward and Veronica Rolando was 2-for-3. Maddie Kerr added 2 RBI.

Softball

McHenry 5, Cary-Grove 1: Katie Berg had 2 hits for Cary-Grove (10-10, 3-2) in this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division loss. Lindsey Marshall was the losing pitcher.

Hampshire 7, Richmond 4: Megan Roadcap had 3 hits including a home run and a double as Hampshire (7-10, 2-4) won in the Big Northern East. Winning pitcher Ally Kent also had 3 hits including a home run for the...
