FLORENCE - Oregon lawmakers will consider two bills today designed to fend off invasive species, from feral swine to zebra mussels.

One bill, House Bill 2220, would authorize the Oregon State Police, Fish & Wildlife Department and state Marine Board to run spot checks on commercial and recreational boats for aquatic invasive species.
