Oakway Women's Club: The Oakway Women's Golf Club will begin its 2009 season of nine- and 18-hole leagues this Thursday with a 7:30 a.m. get-acquainted meeting, followed by golf at 8 a.m. All golfers welcome. For information, call Oakway Golf Course at 484-1927 or 485-4918.
Track City Track Club: The season for youths ages 7-18 begins April 6 at 5:30 p.m. at Sheldon High School's track. For more information, visit www.trackcity.org or call 685-8887.

Summer softball: Registration for men and coed teams wishing to participate in the Willamalane summer softball league begins today. For a registration packet or further information, call 736-4544 or go to Willamalane Community Recreation Center, 250 S. 32nd St. in Springfield.
Kidsports' TOT soccer: The TOT soccer program is for 3- and 4-year olds and is designed to expose young soccer players to teamwork, following instructions, group activity and learning basic soccer skills, with a strong emphasis on having fun. Cost is $30 and registration deadline is Friday. For session date/time/location information and to register, visit www.kidsports.org.
