As you have surely noticed, RI/IR has a new look as of the beginning of 2009, in terms of both its presentation and its content. RI/IR's new style is modern, spare and distinctive. It highlights the content of each issue and the bilingual nature of the journal, which is part of what makes Relations industrielles/lndustrial Relations stand out among academic journals in the field of industrial relations. We have also changed some publication specifications, and these can be round on RI/IR's Web site (www.riir.ulaval.ca). As such, we have specified that, as for most academic journals, all revised manuscripts must be submitted within one year of the first submission date. Henceforth, we will be asking authors to provide a list of key words, which have become essential in the world of on-line usage. As before, each manuscript must be accompanied by a 125-word abstract, placed at the start of the article. Furthermore, the manuscript must now be accompanied by a summary of approximately 300 words, rather than the longer 900-word summary that was required in the past.
