SUNDI SUNDARESH, CEO AND PRESIDENT, ADAPTEC, INC.: Good afternoon, and thank you for joining the Adaptec investor presentation. I am Sundi Sundaresh. I am the CEO. And with me is Mary Dotz, our CFO, as well.

We are going to spend the next 20 minutes giving you a snapshot of who we are, our recent acquisition, the market opportunities ahead of us, our value proposition, and our growth drivers, and why they should be appealing to you as an investment.

And for all of you, I'd also refer you to our most recent 10-Q and 10-K filings for a detailed review of the risks associated with our business and the forward-looking statements in this presentation.

Adaptec got started in 1981 by an entrepreneur who pioneered SCSI, or the Small Computer Systems Interface. We have had a string of innovations and industry firsts since then leading to over 400 technology patents and a broad base of 16,000 resellers and OEMs supporting our products worldwide.

Over the last few years I've spent my time really focusing the business, divesting noncore assets, improving operational efficiencies, and really bringing the business to a core focus of RAID silicon and software and related serial RAID products.

Most recently, about six months ago, we made a strategic acquisition, Aristos Logic, which was a leading provider of RAID solutions. We will talk about that.

Through all of these changes our core mission has not changed. We deliver trusted storage solutions through our partners to our end-user customers, who are consuming it in server or storage devices to move, manage, or protect their data content in disk drives or peripherals.

Over the years we've built a diversified customer base worldwide. We have shipped over 11 million RAID controllers to this base. We have the Who's Who of OEMs that we have engaged with over the years. We also have, as I said, a 16,000-strong reseller network globally, and these are made up of vertical OEMs, integrators, country brands in countries outside the United States, and people focused on special niches around the world. We won them over the years through innovative products, great technical support, and very strong global channel programs.

Six months ago we made a strategic acquisition. The company is Aristos Logic. And they brought with them two key building blocks for Adaptec. One was an award-winning RAID storage processor. The other was an enterprise class RAID software stack. These are critical building blocks for our I/O strategy to really deliver performance and intelligence in the I/O path as customers look for value from the server to storage.

Aristos also gave us another opportunity, really a strategic entree to renew our engagements with the OEMs you saw in the prior slide. We have had engagement with a lot of these OEMs in the past. But when we...
