TOKYO, April 3 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- NTT Electronics Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward (hereafter, NTT Electronics), today announced that it has developed the MPC1010 MPEG-2 HDTV/SDTV Multi-Channel Encoder. The MPC1010 will go on sale in North America in the third quarter of 2009 and is expected to bring significant cost savings for broadcast operators moving to HDTV and DTV multi-channel capability.

The MPC1010 is a digital broadcast platform that can be installed with multiple MPEG-2 HDTV/SDTV encoders which allows for high image quality, high reliability and high cost performance.
