Resolution could come as early as Tuesday in the contentious debate over a 5 percent tax break that Greektown Casino Hotel management is eagerly awaiting.

As the casino struggles under Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization and is trying to sell the property, its management says the city of Detroit is standing in the way of the tax break given to Detroit's other two casinos.

The city, however, says Greektown hasn't lived up to a development agreement from 2002, and that the casino isn't complete, a requirement for getting the tax break.
