SEATTLE - Oregon senior Kalindra McFadden won the pentathlon on Friday, and the Ducks were tied for second place in the team race at the MPSF Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Dempsey Indoor Facility.

McFadden scored a personal-best 4,044 points, 28 points better than second-place finisher Whitney Liehr of Stanford. She won the 800 meters in 2:17.45 and the shot put with a mark of 42-81/2. McFadden also turned in a season-best 5-53/4 to tie for third in the high jump.

Stanford leads the women's competition with 56 points, followed by Oregon and Arizona State with 47. Cal is fourth with 28 points and Washington fifth at 251/2.
