CORVALLIS - Oregon State quarterback Lyle Moevao is scheduled for surgery Monday on his throwing arm and will miss spring practices, though he is expected to fully recover before next season and contend to retain the starting berth in his senior season.

"We won't really know the extent of (the damage) until they get in there," OSU coach Mike Riley said Thursday. "We'll just kind of look forward to good news there."
