The latest high school sports reclassification proposal would not only reunite most of the former Midwestern League schools, it would keep the Sky-Em League in place.

The Oregon School Activities Association's classification and districting committee released a revised six-classification hybrid proposal Thursday that would put South Eugene and Sheldon back into the Midwestern League with Willamette, Thurston, Springfield, Churchill, North Eugene and Marist. The committee is still in the middle of a yearlong process before making a final recommendation to the OSAA board in October.
