St. Louis has a new pro basketball team with a familiar name in charge.

Anthony Bonner, the former Vashon High and St. Louis University star, will be the head coach and assistant general manager of the St. Louis Stunners.

The club will be one of 60 teams in the reformed American Basketball Association.

Bonner met with reporters Thursday at The Heights community center in Richmond Heights. Joining him were Earl Childress Jr., the team's president and general manager, and vice president Jerome Gregory.
