As a corporate travel manager, my most important job has been to justify my value and then to reduce the cost of travel. I'm sure that many of you share the same sentiment. Below, I've listed my wishes for the years to come in our industry.

TO THE AIRLINES:

You know that business travelers end up paying higher fares than leisure customers. Since you know this is true, please focus more on making our business trips more productive. Please install power outlets in every seat. Do you want to charge us for it? Go for it. If we can get our work done, $10 per flight is cheap, especially on transcontinental flights. Internet access?
