Other notable new hires occurred at CD&R, which brought on board Paul Pressler in an advisory capacity and at FBR Capital Markets, which complemented its Watch Hill Partners purchase with senior hires for its investment banking team. Also, Daniel Tredwell, late of Heartland Industrial Partners, teamed up with former JPMorgan peers, Douglas Traver and Thomas Canning, to launch special situations advisory CoveView Advisors.
