That's Classified: Mining Dollars From an Old Mainstay

Until the recent transitional shift to digital, classified advertising was a bedrock source of revenue for print publishers. Yet as the digital age has exponentially evolved, inaugurating and encompassing newer forms and mutations of communications--from Craigslist to Twitter--the old revenue model of print classifieds is quickly becoming phased out. It's a quaint relic of a bygone era.
