Established near Derby in 1977 to support the rail industry, Accrofab quickly moved into aerospace and now employs 92 people. The company's core business is in aero-engine parts; a prominent aero engine manufacturer is a major customer, a result of the location and skill sets offered by the company.

Accrofab can produce parts up to 300 or 400mm3, in materials such as stainless steel, titanium, Inconel and Nimonics.
