So says Austin Grill CEO Chris Patterson, adding it doesn't hurt to have a strong financial partner like Thompson Hospitality. The Herndon, Va.-based contract-foodservice company acquired Austin Grill for an undisclosed sum in late 2006. Today, Patterson, who joined Austin Grill in 2000, is discovering landlords eager to discount leases and suppliers willing to ship direct.
