In the report, The Value of Information Technology-Enabled Diabetes Management, CITL, a nonprofi t research center based at Partners HealthCare System in Boston, presents its fi ndings on the benefits, costs, and effectiveness of ITDM. Of existing technologies, electronic diabetes registries used by providers, followed by clinical decision support systems (CDSS) for providers, showed the greatest improvement in clinical outcomes.
